If you are (or have been) reasonably fluent in French then this is the group for you.

We meet monthly on the third Thursday for coffee at 10.30am at the Old Forge in Storrington. The conversation should be entirely in French, although we help each other out with the odd word or phrase.

Discussion topics raised by group members vary widely, though we usually touch upon points of linguistic interest, travellers' and twinners' tales and memories of life and livelihood 'en Francophonie'. Our aims are enjoyment in company on the one hand, together with the refreshment and extension of our vocabulary and communication skills: keeping the day's topic/s afloat is more important than perfection of accent or grammar (helpful though those can be!).
