This was our first World Affairs Group, launched mid-2024 with a short video entitled "How Not to Be Ignorant About the World." The video was both amusing and enlightening, although we didn't perform very well on the accompanying quiz!

If you would like to try the quiz yourself, click here. This experience led to an engaging discussion about the sources of our news and their trustworthiness.

Future discussions will focus on global events, trends, and critical issues impacting societies worldwide, such as climate change, food security, geopolitics, and conflicts.

Each month, we select a topic, and a member gives a short presentation or shows a video to provide context for the ongoing debate. Membership is limited to ensure everyone has a chance to contribute and be heard.
