The History Group meets at 2pm on the fourth Thursday of each month in a hybrid format with face to face meetings in Petworth and simultaneously via Zoom.
We have just completed a review of ancient civilisations and are now exploring random examples of people, places and events with an historical perspective. The Anglo Saxon West Stoke site, the first Prime Minister, Robert Walpole, five days in 1940 that set the direction of the Second World War and Ephesus are early topics..
